How ASDA Estate Agent Are Perfoming
ASDA launched this trial scheme where all you can surf for properties in terminals in the supermarket. They were trying these in 10 stores in the North East. So how are ASDA Estate Agents doing. The basics of the scheme are they are charging 1% to sell your home through them. So really ASDA is like an Estate Agent too. I am afraid the initial reviews havent been particularly good with a lot of people complaing that they mainly advertise the property in the supermarket. Surely ASDA must know that they need to do more to sell. Just looking at the the website also seem to suggest this is not probably a money spinner that ADSA or Walmart would have hoped for. The website is just so ameterish and it seems they havent progressed much into an new areas since they started in the Northeast. For Now I think the idea of shopping for homes in supermarket hasnt caught up with the British public yet. There are also many no frills way of selling houses these days emerging on the net. There are so many agents out there undercutting the prices the High Street Agents charges. They still haven’t got the grip yet but it would be interesting to see in the future if our estate agents friends will still have the monopoly on the market they do now.
